    OGB ADVISED FRENCH COMPANY RUBIS TERMINAL INFRA IN THE INDIRECT SALE OF RUBIS TERMINAL PETROL

    OGB advised French company Rubis Terminal Infra, in connection with the indirect sale of 100% of the shares of Rubis Terminal Infra’s Turkish subsidiary operating company Rubis Terminal Petrol Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (Rubis Terminal Petrol) to the Turkish company Transpet Petrolcülük ve Enerji A.Ş. (Transpet).

    Rubis Terminal Petrol A, a leading independent storage provider specializing in the storage and handling of bulk liquid products, completed the sale of 100% of the shares of the Company holding Rubis Terminal Petrol to Transpet, a Turkish group specialized in the energy sector, following an agreement signed between the parties on December 15, 2021.

    The Rubis Terminal Petrol. terminal has a storage capacity of 650,000m3 dedicated to petroleum products and a 2.3km long jetty. The Terminal is strategically located to take advantage of the Eastern Mediterranean zone’s growing role as a key trading hub and provides critical import/export infrastructure for Iraqi flows.

    OGB, provided consultancy in the Turkish law aspect of the transaction and the project was realized in coordination DWF Paris, the French counsels of Rubis Terminal Infra and Dirkzwager Legal & Tax, the Dutch law counsels. The project team of OGB consisted of Orkun Özkan (Partner), Burcu Özkan Düzyol (Senior Associate) and Esra Tunçay (Associate).
